AMOSS visits Alice Springs

Professor Elizabeth Sullivan presented at the recent Society of Obstetric Medicine ANZ (SOMANZ)/Internal Medicine Society of ANZ (IMSANZ) meeting on the impact of rheumatic heart disease in pregnancy. Joining her at the conference were (L-R) Professor Elizabeth Sullivan, Dr Shilpa Jesudason (lead investigator), Dr Angela Makris and Professor Stephen McDonald, who join Professor William Hague and Professor Mark Brown as Investigators for the upcoming AMOSS renal disease in pregnancy study. Elizabeth Sullivan also presented with Professor Karin Lust on maternal mortality and AMOSS at the SOMANZ. She continued the next week with another invited talk on the public health impact of rheumatic heart disease in pregnancy at the Public Health Association Australia conference, and met with Alice Springs Hospital maternity. A very full 10 days!
